Halloween Spirit.

I am thinking something more traditional for this shoot as well. I haven’t fully decided where i want to go. part of me wants to do it in a 1930s theme like vampires. But then 10 year old me comes out and is lets recreate a Friday the 13th scene (i think it was part 7? maybe 6? I forget). All I know is i got maybe a week to get this at least on paper so i can start casting the shoot. I am welcome to ideas as well!

If you’re in Utica and interested in a horror themed shoot drop me an email or message on my socials.!

Until next time!

Its been a hot minute from my last blog! Sorry guys,. Things have been a little hectic trying to get some momentum and trying to figure out how to drive web traffic to this web page. I went in thinking, it was going to help ease things up a little (i didn’t say i wasn’t going to grind still) but maybe work 22 hours and sleep 2 hours haha vs work 28 hours and sleep 0 hours ….Figuratively speaking. Like i said this is a learning process for me and I am doing what I can.

That being said.

Spirit Halloween has officially opened up some locations near me. Which means time to start planning my horror themed shoots. I usually don’t thinl about anything Halloween related til at least September. But between the coffee shops starting their pumpkin drinks (YUK!) and Spirit stores opening up its like ok i need to start planning.

Last year I did a Terrifier themed shoot which I am very proud of. Did it in the local cemetery and caught a little hell online for it. Which I found amusing. I was told how can i be so “disrespectful” to the dead. Yes, Really. Lets get something straight. Cemeteries have always been used in the horror genre. Why build a cemetery when you can go to a real one for nothing (or minimal fees to the actual cemetery if its something on a larger scale?). As long as im not vandalizing stones, doing anything freaky like rituals or anything blasphemous. It shouldnt be a huge deal. At least thats my opinion. So with that being said, I am going to do my next shoot in the same cemetery. I have a fascination with “older” stones. and I think those make the perfect backdrop.

Heres a few images from that shoot on the left.
